A much loved husband, father, grandfather, son , Uncle and Brother, Jessie W. Thompson 71, passed away peacefully at his home, with his family present March 7, 2019, . The Warren County native was born December 30, 1947. He was a member of Halls Chapel Baptist Church.

He was a former Staff Sargent of the US Air Force and a former electrician. He was the son of the late Jesse W. Thompson and Cora Lee Thompson and the brother of the late Nellie Hedges (Daryl) and James Thompson (Paulette). Survivors include his devoted wife, Linda C. Thompson of 51 years of marriage and his 2 daughters Tammy L. Crisp, Jill S. Jenkins 3 grandchildren, Ashley D. Martin (Ryan), Dustin W. Crisp, Katelynn B. Jenkins.

Brother Dewayne Thompson (Peggy), Sisters Tina Gunning(Michael), Melissa Matlock, and several nieces and nephews. Please join us in the Celebration of Life at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
