Obituary for Jesus R. Cuevas Jesus R. Cuevas, 71, of Bishop, TX passed away on December 14, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on August 6, 1947 in Matamoros, Mexico. He was a retired cook with the Laredo Taco Co., and was also a member of Primera Iglesia Baptista Church.

He is preceded in death by his niece, Maria Cuevas; one brother-in-law, Alfredo Fuentes. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Enedelia T. Cuevas of Bishop; three sons, Jesus (Evalei) Cuevas Jr. of Bishop, Bonifacio (Sandra) Gonzalez Jr. of California, and Santiago (Lisa) Gonzalez of Bishop; two daughters, Criselda (Vicente) Gonzales of Sugarland, and Luisa (Matthew) Herrera of Bishop; three brothers; two sisters; one grand-daughter who lived with him, Angel Nicole Gonzalez; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Mon.

, 12-17-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Religious Service will be held on Mon. , 12-17-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tues. , 12-18-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at La Primera Iglesia Baptista Church in Bishop with Pastor David Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at Evangelico Cemetery in Bishop, TX.
