Jettie Anna Rullman Greenday, age 86, of Newland, NC passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Greenday was born October 2, 1932 in Catawba County, NC to the late Carl William Rullman and Elizabeth Carpenter Rullman. She was a member of Mountainside Lutheran Church where she served as the Financial Secretary and was a member of the choir for many years.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Greenday; her son, Frank William Greenday; and her brother, Casper Rullman. Those left behind to cherish Mrs. Greenday’s memories are three children, Sonya Rutledge of Newland, NC, Eric Greenday (Kristin) of Conway, SC and Philip Greenday (Mary) of Richmond, VA; one daughter-in-law, Laura Greenday of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren, Andrew Rutledge (Magen), Eric Greenday (Jennifer), Megan Peterson (Mike), Kayley, Allison and Casey Greenday; three great-grandchildren, Addilyn Greenday, Brayden Peterson and Able Rutledge; seven siblings, Carl Rullman, Jr. (Frances), Carolyn Good (David), Hank Rullman (Joan), Glenn Rullman (Jacki), Denetia Johnson (Jim), Amy Hofman (Donnie) and Andrew Rullman (Alice); one sister-in-law, Arlys Rullman; godchildren, Kim Kacani, David Lynn Good, Erin Johnson and John Henry Hofman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Greenday will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountainside Lutheran Church.
