OBITUARY Jewel Simpson Narry Born September 2, 1930 Jewel Narry, age 88 of Frisco, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Jewel was born on September 2, 1930 in Botetourt County, Virginia. She grew up as the youngest of eight children and attended Fincastle High School.

In 1957, she married Fred Narry, Jr. Her hobby was photography. She began her career in nursing in 1977. After retiring from nursing, Jewel loved to volunteer, read, travel, ride her bike and run 5K’s.

Jewel is survived by her daughter Katherine Gyssler and husband Keith, grandchildren Nicole West and husband Jeremy, Mark Gyssler and great grandchildren Dylan and Rachel West and her sister Isobel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Narry, Jr., daughter, Ann Elizabeth, her parents David & Marilda Simpson, her sisters, Annie, Kathleen, Audrey; and her brothers Andrew, Rex and Bruce.
