Jewell G Hooker March 24, 1955 – May 25, 2019 Jewell Gwynette Hooker, 64, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away May 25, 2019. She was born March 24, 1955, in Lakeland, Georgia, to Edgar and Jewell Cox Lee. Gwyn was of the Christian faith and had worked 15 years as an activities director in a nursing home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Louise Hilstrap and Mary Jean Lee. Survivors include her husband, David E. Hooker; daughter, Barbara (John) Tate; sons, David L. (Mary Ann) Hooker and Stephen Hooker; three brothers: Tommy, Billy, and Jerald Lee; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas, with Bro.

Larry White officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Turkey Pen Cemetery.
