Jill Ann “Jilly” Quinn Mayle, 52, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Saturday May 11, 2019 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH after a courageous sixteen-year battle with cancer. She was born September 24, 1966 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of James and Deloris (Fish) Quinn of Brilliant, Ohio. In addition to her parents, surviving are her husband, Patrick Alan Mayle, whom she married Nov.

30, 1991; two children, Alexa Elizabeth Mayle (21), a senior at Kent State University and Jacob Mayle (16), a sophomore at Buckeye Local High School; a sister, Janis (Rich) Ferguson of Knoxville, TN; a brother, Christopher (Sheri) Quinn of Stow, OH; a sister-in-law, Misty (Brian) Seach of Wintersville, OH; five nephews, Andrew and Austin Ferguson, Connor, Cameron and Evan Quinn; as well as two nieces, Amanda (Anthony) Lollini and Kacie (Paul) Gibson; two great-nieces Emilia Lollini and Deandre Gibson; three lifelong friends, Tammie (Brettell) Spence, Dana (Eltringham) Sindledecker; and Jill (Graham) Wilder. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Chloe. Jill was preceded in death by her in-laws, Calvin and Betty Mayle Jill is a 1984 graduate of Buckeye North High School and also the Ohio Valley School of Nursing, where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse.

She was previously employed by Trinity West as a labor and delivery nurse. She was also a nurse in surgery at Conway Medical Center in South Carolina; EORH and Trinity West. Jill was a member of the Brilliant Christian Church where she was very involved in Sunday School and was Deaconess, as well as a member of Women’s Fellowship.

A special thanks goes to the James Cancer Center, Tony Teramana Cancer Center and lastly but certainly not least Dr. M. Rahman. Friends will be received to Celebrate Jill’s Life at the Brilliant Christian Church, 323 High St. on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral services at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Russell and Pastor Bill Fulton, officiating.

Following the celebration of her life, there will be a reception of cake and ice cream in the social hall at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Team Jill Mayle Fund, 1000 Second St., Brilliant, OH 43913. Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Homes.
