Jimmie Davis, Jr.: A native of Monroeville, AL and a lifelong resident of Grand Bay, AL departed his life on Monday, March 11, 2019. He was born on September 19, 1958. He was a graduate of Mobile County High School.

During his professional career he worked in the seafood and recycling industries. He was a lifelong member of the EOH Holiness Church. He confessed and accepted “Jesus Christ” as his lord and savior early in life.

He attended the Grand Bay Truckstop Ministry. He was a loving and caring person who helped many people and was very active in his community. He enjoyed listing to gospel music and keeping up with current events.

He loved spending time laughing, talking and joking with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father Emily and Rev. Jimmie Davis, Sr. and four brothers James Tolbert, Ray Davis, Raymond Davis, and Eddie Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted family; his sweet and loving daughter, who he loved with all his heart: Saudia Davis of Pensacola, FL; four sisters: Annie R. Winston, Nora Davis, Carilean (Ozell) Washington, all of Grand Bay, AL and Emma Davis Peyton, of Mobile AL; one brother: Minister Ralph Davis of Mobile, AL; a special great niece: Yuntalaa Davis of Grand Bay, AL; Two Aunts: Delores Tolbert, of St. Elmo, AL and Ella Tolbert, of Irvington, AL; seven nieces and seven nephews; a host of great nieces and great nephews; A host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sat. March 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Mt.

Pisgah Baptist Church, Rev. Lamon Forrest officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Grand Bay, AL.

Services are entrusted to Hodge’s Chapel L.L.C. 701 Dr. M.L. King Jr. Ave. Mobile, AL 36603.
