OBITUARY Jimmie Lou Blake December 17, 1930 – January 14, 2019 Jimmie Lou went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2019 in her home surrounded by her children. She was a charter member of the Lafayette Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her four children; her sons, Dale E. Blake (Donna Brunner), and Ricky S. Blake (Gabriele), and her daughters Wanda Blake Roy and Connie Mae B. Vance.

Jimmie Lou also has nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her five siblings; Iris West, Rita Barrett, Doug Bullard, J.P. Bullard, and Dale Bullard. Mrs. Blake was preceded in death by her husband, Dale I. Blake, her father, Samuel P. Bullard, her mother, Ila Mae Bullard, and her stepmother, Annie Belle.

She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Carmen and Truman Bullard, and her granddaughter, Jessica Blake McPhaul. The service for Mrs. Blake will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, Hope Mills, NC, with a burial to follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, NC. There will be a visitation for Jimmie Lou on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, NC.
