OBITUARY Jimmy A Scrogham July 16, 1950 – September 8, 2018 Jimmy Albert Scrogham, age 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday September 8, 2018. Jimmy was born July 16, 1950 in San Francisco, CA to Louise Helen Scrogham and Robert Letcher Scrogham. Jimmy had many passions in life, from his plants, fishing with his children, bowling, his yard, and his family.

James liked to stay busy and one of his titles when he wasn’t working was “the babysitter” which he enjoyed as he would spend as much time with his grandchildren as he could. James was a green thumb tending to the plants he loved knowing he could nurture them back to health and vitality. Someone once said: “That man is a success – who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it; who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it.

; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had”. Jimmy was all these things and more to everyone in his life he knew as his presence is already missed. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Julia Scrogham; daughter Stacy Scrogham; daughter Stephanie Scrogham; and son Stephen Scrogham; brother Phillip Scrogham; granddaughter Desiree Long, grandson Jayden Long and granddaughter Kariana Davis.

The family would also like to thank Kerry his hospice nurse for all the compassion and care given to Jimmy during his illness. Jimmy was preceded in death by; father Robert Letcher Scrogham and mother Louise Helen Scrogham. A visitation will occur Friday, September 14, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219.
