Obituary for Jimmy Edward Standifer Jim Standifer, WWII U.S. Navy veteran, long time Torrance resident and 1946 graduate of Torrance High, passed away at the Long Beach Veteran’s Medical Center this past week. Jim was a member of Torrance First Baptist Church and active in both the Torrance High Alumni and Torrance Historical Associations. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be graveside at Green Hills, Thursday 5/10/18 at Noon. All are welcome. In place of floral gifts, please donate instead to Long Beach VA Medical Center (www.
