Jimmy Jacob Pierot Sr of Palmer, Texas passed away on May 06, 2019 in Waxahachie, Texas. Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 10:00AM at Driggers and Decker Family Funeral Home, 105 Vintage Drive Red Oak, Texas 75154. Jimmy was born on May 02, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Homer and Ruby Pierot.

He was the middle child of the family and it showed. Jim was an avid gun collector and loved watching old western shows. In his free time, Jim enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, deer hunting and fishing.

His personality was grumpy and confrontational at times, but you knew he loved you and would do anything for you. Jim was extremely generous, especially with his opinion. It was his way or no way.

He treasured his grandchildren; they meant the world to him. Jim’s unique temperament and burly presence will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, William Robert Pierot and brother, Glen Pierot.

Jim is survived by his son, Jimmy Jacob Pierot Jr. and his wife, Misty; grandchildren, Steve Pierot, Jimmy Pierot III, DeDe Burke, Taylor Hazen, and Connor Glass; great-grandchildren, Wes, Jack, and Jon Griffin; and many other family members and friends.
