Mr. Jimmy Monroe Gordon, 71, of Forest Park, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019. Born June 30, 1947 in Miller County, Mr. Gordon was the son of the late Murray William Gordon and the late Jeffie Dee Talley Davis. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired from South Fulton Hospital, where he worked in the painting department.

After his retirement, Mr. Gordon owned and operated a painting business, Gordon Creations.
