Ms. Jo Anne Jones, 64, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Jones was born May 20, 1954 in Stillmore, Ga. to the late Gordon Jones and Louise Tidwell Jones.

She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and her little dog, Grummy. Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Wilkerson; sister, Betty Wilkerson of Twin City; grandson, Josef McNure of Meeks; granddaughter, Haley Miller of Tampa, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

Interment will follow in Sim Warren Cemetery near Stillmore. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tim Wilkerson, Matt Jones, Jamie Jones, James Akridge and Joey Crapps.
