Lillington, NC: Miss Jo Lee Penny, age 66, of Lillington formerly of Kinston, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Universal Healthcare, Lillington, NC. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Pinelawn Cemetery 4488 US Hwy 70 West, Kinston, NC 28504. Pastor Eddie White will officiate.

Miss Penny was born on January 21, 1952 in Wake County to the late Joseph Elton and Mattie Lee Bryant Penny. She was a retired Jones County Public School Teacher with over 30 years of service. Surviving are brothers and sister-in-law; Don and Joanne Penny of Lillington and Robert Elton Penny of Sweden; many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery on Monday. Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
