Loving mother of Ryan (Cathy), Kevin (Ashley Soroga), Ashley (Jonathan) Heck, Tyler and the late Darcy Melby. Devoted grandmother of Riley, Alex, Caitlyn and Kevin. Cherished daughter of Dolores and the late Robert Fortune.

Dear sister of many. Joan devoted much of her time caring for others as an ICU nurse at Lake Forest Hospital. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy.
