Joan Elaine Goldammer June 27, 1934 – May 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Joan E. Goldammer, of Hersey Township near Evart, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side, Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was 84. Joan was born June 27, 1934 in Lansing to Eston and Marie (Darnell) VanOrder.

She attended the Barryton schools and married Robert A. Goldammer November 29, 1980 in Evart. Joan and Bob attended the Reed City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a caretaker for the elderly, watching the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon being her favorite driver, and loved being with her family.

Joan is survived by her husband, Robert A. Goldammer of Evart, her children, Marilyn (Gary Earnest) Eisenhauer of Sears, Rick (Joan) Eisenhauer of Alto, Dennis Eisenhauer of Farwell, Carolyn (Jim McLachlan) Vining of Evart, Alan (Brenda) Goldammer of Leroy, Carol (Mike) Card of Sheridan, Brad (Roxanne) Goldammer of Grawn, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Joyce Hillier of Sears, Vonnie (Art) Lloyd of Evart, Bonnie (Paul Cruikshank) Yarhouse of Evart, her sister-in-law, Kitty Forton of New Port Richey, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eston VanOrder and Marie Dearing, her brother, Donald VanOrder, her brother and his wife, Ronnie and Connie VanOrder, and brother-in-laws, Harold Hillier, Pete Yarhouse, and Jerry Forton. A Celebration of Life honoring Joan Elaine Goldammer will take place at 11:00am Monday, May 20th at the Reed City United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Cadarette officiating.

Visitation will be 10:00am until time of services. Joan will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery, Reed City, MI. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan, 400 Perry St., Big Rapids, MI 49307 or the Reed City United Methodist Church, 503 S. Chestnut St., Reed City, MI 49677.
