OBITUARY Joan Josephine Swain July 31, 1934 – September 27, 2018 On Thursday, September 27, 2018, Joan “Grandmom” Josephine Swain of Severn, MD. , Beloved wife of Victor “Vic” D. Swain, Jr. Loving mother of Cynthia M. Swain and her husband Robert Elchin and Lorri Swain Hall and her husband Chip. Sister of the late Gloria “Maude” Miller, Priscilla Gladysz and Helen Dixon.

Grandmother of the late Jason Mullinix and her other grandchildren; Brian Mullinix, Taylor Hicks, Ashley and Camryn hall and Mark Elchin. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Jayden, Sunny, Brian, Jr. and Audrey and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 (exit 6 off Rt.

100 south) on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 10:30 am till the start of the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 11:30 am. Inurnment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the E.W.T.N.
