Joane’s Obituary Attleboro – Joane A. (King) Keane, 85, of South Attleboro, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent H. Keane. A lifelong resident of South Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Rita (Worden) King.

Joane was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Church and worked as the House Two secretary at Attleboro High School for twenty-five years until her retirement. In her free time, Joane enjoyed quilting and stitched many beautiful quilts for family and friends over the past many years. She also enjoyed having morning coffee with her daughter, Mary at Honey Dew Donuts in South Attleboro.

Above all, Joane loved spending quality time with her husband and her family, whom she loved more than anything, and she was especially proud of her children and grandchildren and their respective families. Joane leaves four children, John T. Keane and his wife, Brenda, of Sandston, Virginia, Timothy V. Keane and his wife, Carey, of South Attleboro, Catherine M. Famiglietti and her husband, James, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Mary F. Jackson and her husband, Alan, of South Attleboro; eight grandchildren, Erich Keane and his wife, Natalia and their expectant son, Walter Keane; Christopher Keane, Kaytie Keane, Timothy Keane and his wife, Andrea, Nicholas Famiglietti, Caroline Famiglietti, Matthew Jackson and Emily Jackson; two siblings, Dorothy Keane of South Attleboro and Frank King of Bradenton Beach, Florida and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara O’Connell.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. , Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro. Interment will follow at Newell Burying Ground.

VISITATION will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 will be appreciated.
