Obituary of Joan Healy Joan M. Healy, 83, of Woodland Park, passed away on January 8, 2019. Joan was born in West Paterson on September 13, 1935 to the late George and Marie (Curry) Healy. After attending the Sherwood-Paterson Business School, Joan worked as a Supervisor of Annuities at Prudential Insurance Company for 34 years and later retired as a systems analyst for the General Adjustment Bureau in Parsipanny.
Joan was a devoted parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church in Paterson where she served as a former Parish Trustee, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Altar Guild, the Senior Enrichment Program and the Ministry of Bereavement and Secular Franciscans. Joan was predeceased by her parents and her brother George Healy and is survived by many cousins. Visitation will begin at 9:00am at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave.
, Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will follow the visitation on Saturday at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson, NJ. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
In lieu of flowers, Joan requested memorial donations be sent to St. Bonaventure Church.
