OBITUARY Joann Cummings November 25, 1929 – July 26, 2018 Joann Cummings, 88, of Maple Grove, formerly of Blaine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born in Red Wing, MN to Raymond and Mabel, along with identical twin sister, Joyce, who arrived minutes later, the two remained inseparable, followed by brother, Charles. Our mom was the most amazing and loving person.

She was a Proverbs 31 woman in many ways. She worked full time at Honeywell for 31 years, raised four children, and still had time for the love of her life, husband, Roy. They were married for 68 years.

She seldom complained and always thought of others first. Everyone loved Mom’s smile and her wonderful hugs. Those who cared for her during her illness loved her dearly; they said she was the sweetest little lady.

She will be deeply missed. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce; brother, Charles; and cousin, Betty. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Roy; children, Diana (Gary) Brantner, Randy (Chao), Sheila (John) Gerber, and Kenneth (Barbara); grandchildren, Jon (Ann) Brantner, Brian (Kiah) Brantner, Mary Joy Cummings, Jackie Cummings, Melissa Cummings, Tony (Lindsi) Phillippi, Jennifer (Luke) Hayes, Elle (Tim) Dobosenski, Riki Cummings, and Tomy Cummings; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Dylan, Makayla, Jackson, Jaden, Isbella, Sienna, Logan, Cheyenne, Kaden, Kendal, Bryce, Kayla, Gavin, Haley, Dillion, Cadence, Oliver, Grayson, Tanner, and Blake; sisters-in-law, Donna and Rachael Lee; nieces, nephews; other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be Friday, August 3 at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
