Ocala – Joann Naomi Birchfield, 71, passed away May 11, 2019. She was born February 15, 1948, in Annapolis, Maryland, to the late Joseph and Blanche Sweeney. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Reid Birchfield and brother, Joseph Wayne Sweeney. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Blanche) Birchfield; daughters, Tina Spradley (James), Bonnie Birchfield (Denise Hall); brother, Larry Dale Sweeney; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral service will be announced soon.
