JoAnn Paulson, 83 of Fargo, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Edgewood Vista in Fargo. JoAnn was born on February 2, 1936 in rural Ransom County, ND to Andrew and Clara (Anderson) Sandvig. She attended rural grade school and graduated from high school in Sheldon, ND in 1954.

Following high school she worked for Fischer Motor Company in Casselton, ND for 2 years. She married Richard Paulson in 1956 in Casselton and they moved to Fargo, ND. JoAnn worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of ND for 20 years, retiring in 1976.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lorraine Devitt, Arlene Hagen and Maxine Bueling and brothers, Andrew Sandvig and Bud Sandvig. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Richard of Fargo; brother, Darrel (Ardis) Sandvig of Moorhead, MN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:30 am at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment: Casselton Cemetery, Casselton, ND. West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center www.
