JoAnn’s Obituary Miss JoAnn M. Yevcak M.S.N., 67, of Nesquehoning, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her home. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Meterko) Yevcak. JoAnn was a graduate of Marian High School, class of 1970.

She then went on to graduate from Penn State University having received both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nursing. JoAnn worked for the former Coaldale State General Hospital for many years and also worked as a Certified Diabetic Instructor. She was a member of the former St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Lansford and current member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill.

Surviving are several Cousins. She was preceded in death by a Sister, Virginia Mikolay. Funeral Service is on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Summit Hill. Calling Hours are Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Church.
