Joanna “Joan”‘s Obituary Joanna “Joan” C. Wychocki nee Lambos, age 73, of South Chicago and formerly of the Eastside, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth for 40 years. Loving mother of the late Gloria (Barry) Meisner, Jackie (Stephen) Chojnicki and Adam Wychocki.

Cherished grandmother of Aiden Wychocki, Mackenzie Wychocki, Jacob Wychocki, Matthew Fotschky, Angelina Fotschky, Kyle Meisner, Ryan Meisner, Kassidy Meisner and Jake Meisner. Fond aunt and cousin to many. Devoted daughter of the late James and the late Brunetta Lambos.

Dearest sister of the late Diane Zonta and the late Chris Lambos. Joan devoted her life and heart as a CNA to those when they needed it most and to caring for and spending time with her family. She loved her trips to the Casino and the Sizzlin 777 machines.

Joan was loved by many and will be missed by more. Friends are invited to meet with Joan’s family on Friday, April 05, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 06, 2019 at 10 AM at Saint Kevin Catholic Church, 10509 South Torrence Avenue, Chicago, IL with Rev.

George Schopp officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
