Knight (nee Crews), Joanne – 67, of Cape May, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Joanne was a longtime resident of the Cape May area and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School. She worked for ShopRite in Rio Grande for 29 ½ years before retiring.

Joanne enjoyed many things in her life but nothing more than simply being with her family and dear friends. This time was truly priceless to her. Joanne was a daughter to the late Joseph and Mary Crews.

She is the loving mother of Walter “Buzz” Knight (Deion), William “Billy” Knight (Samantha), Quenesha “Nesha” Lowry (“Jay”) and Joey Knight (Michelle); sister of Deidra (Greg), Wanda (David), Danny, Janet and the late Jeanette. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Relatives and friends will be received at the Spilker Funeral Home, Cape May on Saturday (March 2nd) from 10:30am until 11:30am where a time of sharing thoughts, memories and love will be shared by family and friends beginning at 11:30am to celebrate Joanne’s life.
