Stevensville – Joanne L. English, 84, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home in Stevensville of cancer. Joanne was born April 6, 1934 in Lemmon, South Dakota to Carl and Sarah, Wattnem. Joanne was a fulltime mom, homemaker and a wife to Roger English.

She was active in her church, the Senior Center, enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her friends and her “sisters” Nancy Everard and Betty Holden. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Joshua Carney and Joshua’s father, Bob Carney. She is survived by her four children, Paula Carney of Hamilton, Julie and her husband Chuck Pannorella of Bellevue, WA, Roger English of Corvallis, MT and Lori and her husband Tom Young of Fruitland, ID; six grandchildren, one half-sister and three half-brothers.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at Light of the Valley Church, 103 N. Kootenai Creek Road in Stevensville with Lori Young officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church’s fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that any memorial donations be made to the family towards the funeral expenses and to bless her grandchildren.
