Joe Bourff, 64, of Gaston, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 unexpectedly at his home in Gaston. Joe was born October 17, 1954 in Elwood, Indiana to the late Raymond and Norma Bourff. He was a 1972 graduate of Wes-Del High School.

He married Betsy (Brooks) Bourff on May 1, 1980 and mourned her death in 2013. Joe owned D&D Motors and was a auto body repairman. He enjoyed classic cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Joe is survived by two daughters, Sydney McCoy of Frederick, MD and Tiffany Slaven (husband Josh) of Powell, TN; two stepsons, Greg Stinefield (wife Tammy) of Selma and Steve Stinefield of Anderson; six grandchildren, Tana McCoy, Ethan Slaven, Addison Slaven, Heather Poe, Derek Stinefield, and Taylor Stinefield; a sister, Vicki Burke (husband Fred); a brother, Steve Bourff; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel, 109 W. Elm St., Gaston, IN 47342. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018 and also one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at Gant Funeral Homes, Gaston Chapel.
