Joe Griffith March 25, 1940 – December 28, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Joe Griffith, 78, a resident of Union City, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Sutton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Brooks, David Easterwood, Lance Norris, Andy Oliver, Andy Moubray, Jerry Shade, Sonja Hamton and Ben Brooks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 on Saturday.

Mr. Griffith was born March 25, 1940, in Union City, TN, son of the late Joseph Newman Griffith and Virginia (Caudle) Slusher. He married JoAnn (Easterwood) Griffith March 1991. She survives.

He was a retired Salesman for Blue and Gray Marine and was a member of the Bishop Street Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, Mr. Griffith is also survived by four grandchildren, Julie Kane of Nashville, Jonathan Kincade of Samburg, Miranda Oliver of Dresden and Lance Norris of Jackson; six great-grandchildren, Drew Oliver of Dresden, Bret Robey Kane and Oliva Blake Kane both of Nashville, Cate Norris of Jackson Lottie June Kincade and Jonathan Briggs Kincade both of Samburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Carolyn Griffith of Troy. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Copeland.
