Joe Tom White November 04, 1957 – May 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Joe Tom White, 61 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 4, 2019. Joe Tom, also known as “Jose” and “The Bull”, was born to the home of Tom White, Jr. and Virginia (Nixon) White on November 4, 1957 in Mason, Texas. Joe Tom attended school in Mason and graduated from Mason High School in 1976.

Joe Tom moved to Santa Rosa in 1985 where he owned and operated The White Ranch. A life-long rancher, Joe Tom was devoted to the ranch and thoroughly enjoyed working cattle, good horses and good dogs. Being active with the ranch, Joe Tom found time to hunt and fish.

Joe Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his brother; Willie White and brother-in-law and best friend; Karl Kinney Kothmann. Joe Tom’s Border Collies; Shorty and Rusty, his Blue Lacy; Captain and his favorite horse; Pete have also gone on before him. Joe Tom is survived by his children; Joe Bob White and wife Kristen of Batson, Texas, Kasey White and wife Anna of Ft.

Sumner, NM, Virginia Litane Thomas and husband Pecos of Yeso, NM and Tee Jay White of Santa Rosa and his grandchildren; Kaleigh, Colt, Brycee and Avery. He is also survived by his significant other and best friend; Karla White. In addition, Joe Tom is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be; Steve Gamel, Steve Kimbrell, Scott McMillian, Dan Moran, Steven Brawley, Kelly Cates, Tim Lamb, Joey Silva, Colt Vernon, Mike Pettigrew, Pete Marez and Skeet Allen. A Memorial Service will take place at The White Ranch in Santa Rosa on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. All services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S.
