Mr. Joel Scott Key, 51, of Valley, AL passed away on Friday, July 6th 2018. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Key Dunson (Jim) of Conyers, GA and his brother, Larry Neal Key (Karina) of Phenix City, AL along with niece, Abigail Dunson and nephew, Walker Dunson of Honolulu, HI. He was preceded in death by his Father, Virgil G. Key and his mother, Faye Wright Key.

He graduated from Valley High School, class of 1985 and was employed by Industrial Service and Supply in Valley, AL. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley from 6:00 – 8:00 pm EST with a graveside memorial at 11:00 am EST on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Fairfax Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the gravesite.

Joel was a son, a brother, an uncle and a great friend to all who knew him. He loved music and cooking and was a skilled drummer who shared his talent with countless people over the years. Joel took the Last Ride, far too soon, and he will be sorely missed.
