On February 25th , 2019, our beautiful sister, Joellyn McDaniels was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She left this world way too soon at the age of 61. She graduated from Valparaiso High School in Valparaiso, IN.

where she met her husband, Wayne. Joellyn loved her family. She was preceded in death, by her parents, John T Amborn and Margaret L. (Lent) Amborn, and her nephew,(Tony) Anthony R Amborn.

She is survived by her brothers: Theron J. Amborn (Yvonne) nephew (Pete) John R Amborn (Kathy), great-nephews Spencer and Taylor. Brother Harland F. Amborn (Cheryl) nieces:Amy Altman and Julie Bernards (Roy), great nieces Brenna and Chloe. Joellyn was a devout Christian and worked in the church teaching preschool children at Southside Christian Fellowship in Winter Garden.

She was the Children and Youth Director at First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden She organized many events in her community “ Westward Village” She also organized many other events such as : Family Reunions which she enjoyed with a passion. She also had her own Internet radio show show which she did daily devotions called “ Voices Around the World “ which was aired everyday between 11:00am to 12noon and included her Christian friends from all over the world who read with her. Her sole mission in life was to show people the way to Jesus and she did just that.

She touch so many hearts. She had the special way with her soft gentle voice and that special “Giving Quality” like no one else I knew. Joellyn helped so many people out in so many different ways.

It was so incredible how strong her faith was and still is. She was loved by all. She especially had a deep love and gratitude to her husband, Wayne and close friend, and soulmate Michael Cappuccilli.

She loved her best friends, Don and Maryann Swartz and their daughter, Tammy Geschke who shared very special moments together. . They were all with her throughout her battle and were with her until the end.

She’s now with her Heavenly Family. Rest in the Lord Sweet Angel of God. Joellyn’s favorites : Hymn “ In The Garden “ sung by Joey and Rory.

Psalm 23 : The Lord is My Shepherd Eulogy Poem from Little House on the Prairie which she watched everyday and knew every episode by heart. “Remember me with smiles and laughter, / For that’s the way I’ll remember you all. / If you can only remember me with tears, / Then don’t remember me at all “.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 23 12noon at the First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden 125 North Lakeview Ave. Winter Garden, Florida. Any flowers should be sent on March 22 by 12 noon to: First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden 125 North Lakeview Ave.
