John A Madary 55, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 in his residence. Born on October 16, 1962 in Logansport, he is the son to Lyman and Mary Jane (Shotts) Madary. On March 10, 1990 in Logansport he married Linda Lind who survives.

John was a 1980 graduate of Logansport High School. John enjoyed racing his #J99 stock car at Shady Hill, Bunker Hill, and Camden Raceway. Surviving along with his wife Linda, is a daughter, Rachel (Justin Ross) Madary, Niles, MI; father, Lyman Madary, Logansport; granddaughter, Kylee Madary, Niles, MI; a brother; a sister; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Madary; and brother, Mike Rentschler. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Ralph Shotts officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society. You may share condolences and memories of John at www.
