Recupero John of East Boston passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family on April 28 at the age of 50. Survived by the love of his life Shawnda Pugliese of East Boston, daughters Brandi Ramirez and husband Jose of Revere, Amber and Charley Pugliese and Grandson Noah Wooten all of East Boston. Loving brother of Michelle Ross and husband Keith of Vernon Ct.

Cathy Barton and husband Ed of Stoughton. Son of Joan Havey of Malden and the late Agripino “Chicky” Recupero. Also survived by his many loving nieces nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will honor John’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston on Wednesday May 1 from 4-8 PM and again on Thursday morning at 8:30 before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church East Boston for a funeral mass in celebration of John’s life at 10AM. Cremation service to follow will be private. John was a hard worker since his early teenage years ,cook, carpenter and truck driver.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. In honoring John’s life in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Johns family.
