OBITUARY John Alexander Fetter December 14, 1928 – September 24, 2018 Play Tribute Movie John Alexander Fetter passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the age of 89 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on December 14, 1928 in Schuylkill Haven, PA to James and Mae Fetter. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Ilse Fetter of Germany; Son: Stuart Fetter of San Antonio, TX; Grandchildren: Wesley Fetter, Bryan Fetter, Bay Roberson; great-grandchildren: Declan Fetter, Sarah Roberson, Ethan Roberson, Miriam Roberson; Sister: Shirley Grammer; Brother-in-Law: Ulli Utry, Rudolf Utry and other family members and friends from Germany. He served in the United States Army where he retired after serving 28 years. He worked for the IRS for 25 years.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. A visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A chapel service will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 12:30pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
