OBITUARY John Alonzo Patton April 7, 1935 – January 3, 2019 A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of John Alonzo Patton (83) of Ormond Beach FL will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Korona. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach. Mr. Patton, a resident for the past sixteen years of Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club, formerly of Lynbrook NY, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Advent Health Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach.

He was born in Brooklyn NY on April 7, 1935, a son of the late Thomas H. and Nancy M. (Walker) Patton. Mr. Patton was the President of Edwardia Sales Corporation in New York. He was also an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a daily communicant of St. Joseph’s Carmelite Monastery and a member of Plantation Bay Golf Club where he loved to golf.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and William Walker. Surviving him are his loving wife of 58 years, Karen (Koehler) Patton, his children John Patton of Miami FL, James Patton and his wife Kathleen of Westwood MA, Jennifer Patton and her husband Michael Bicknell of Mandeville LA, three grandchildren Finn, Maeve, and Colin, two brothers Thomas Patton of Laurens NY and Robert Patton of Rockville Centre NY and many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Mr. Patton.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
