THOMAS, Mr. John Anthony “Tony” – age 63, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at McLaren Hospital Oakland. Graveside Service 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street Pontiac, Michigan. Mr. Thomas will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed from 8:00 AM – 11:30AM Saturday.

Mr. Thomas was born June 18, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Mary Elizabeth Thomas and the late John Arthur Williams. John attended school in the Pontiac school district and was employed by Waste Management. He received Christ at an early age and kept many friends throughout the years.

Mr. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory: loving mother, Mary Elizabeth Thomas; daughter, Micah Brooks of Pontiac, MI; six grandchildren; siblings, Darryl Williams of Pontiac, MI, Robert Smith of Louisville, KY and Sandra Seay of New Albany, IN; special aunt, Gloria Waters of Pontiac, MI; and other relatives and friends including special niece, Myisha White. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Kareem Weatherby; father, John Arthur Williams; siblings, Walter Williams and Norva Jean Williams.
