Obituary Saltville, VA John Campbell Whitely, age 89, of Saltville, VA went to be with the Lord on March 4th, 2019. He was a graduate of Rich Valley High School class of 1948. He was a hard worker his whole life, spending 23 years at Olin Chemical Works in Saltville and 17 years at Simmons-Rand in Bristol.

He was an avid gardener who was especially proud of his large hierloom tomatoes and delicious pole beans.
