John Charles Carter II Went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday January 2nd 2019. He was born July 27th 1943 to John C. and Charlotte Carter of Seneca, SC. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Jackie.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Kourt Carter, sons, John Charles Carter III (Andrea Meyer) of Destrahan LA, Steven Kourt Carter (Jana June) of Key West FL, Grandchildren, Evelyn and Leah, sisters, Minnie Kruger of Corinth TX, Cece Drew of Mullins SC and… Read More » Jerri Franks of Seneca SC. He graduated from Clemson University (class of 1975) with a B.S in Physics and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving his country during the Vietnam era. He was an avid boater and dedicated Clemson fan, loved to travel and was interested in all things science and technology.

He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be 5-6:30, Sunday January 6th at Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home 101 E. North Second Street Seneca, SC 29678. Funeral services will be 10:00 am January 7th at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
