John D. Baran, age 81, of Port Vue, died June 15, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital of McKeesport. Born August 21, 1936, in Port Vue, he was the son of the late John C. and Anna (Macus) Baran and the husband of Dorothy (Wertz) Baran for 42 years. John was retired from Time Warner Cable Co., where he worked as a line technician.

He was a member of St. Mark Parish. John was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during peacetime. He enjoyed motorcycles, gun collecting, woodworking, and fishing.
