John E. Keough, “Jack”, 97 years of age, passed away at home on November 29, 2018. Jack was born and raised in Holyoke. He was the son of Anna Slattery and Edwin Keough.

He is survived by his wife, Doris of 69 years, 5 children (Susan K. Garber, Douglas Keough, Carol Morrison, Thomas Keough and Christopher Keough), 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Jack was predeceased by his oldest son, John E. (Jed) Keough. Jack graduated from the University of Massachusetts after serving in the Air Force during the War.

He worked at Hercules, Inc., most recently as National Director of Marketing. The funeral will be held at Our Lady of the Cross, Holy Cross Avenue, Holyoke on Thursday, December 6, at 11:00 AM and will be preceded by visitation at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA, and beginning at 9 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or JERICHO.
