John E. Smith, 73, Monongahela, PA, formerly of Coal Center, passed away on January 10,2019. John Proudly served in the Army In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Smith on March 26,2017. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jennifer Selinger and her significant other, Randy Earley and son, Joseph Selinger, III.

; two sisters, Mary Braddock, and Nancy Konsugar; four brothers, Bert Smith and wife Janet, Elmer Smith and wife Megan, twin brother Jerry Smith and wife Sandy and Ed Smith and wife Jill. Also surviving is one grandson, Dalton Selinger. Funeral Services are private and will be at the convenience of his family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA 15419.
