John Edward Bray III, 62, of Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born on June 26, 1956 in Princeton, Indiana the son of John Edward Bray Jr. and Donna Beachler Bray. John was an operating engineer for local 841.

He was a member of the Shaker Prairie Church, Masonic Lodge Princeton #231, lifetime member of the VFW Post #2459, Princeton Sons of the American Legion Post #216, Greene County Shrine Club, Hadi Temple Shriners of Evansville, Indiana and Elks Lodge #634 in Princeton. John is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Beth Rotramel Bray, son, Walker Bray of Hazleton, Indiana, step-son, Collin Murphy of Carlisle, Indiana and sister, Nancy (Steve) Wilder of Princeton, Indiana.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
