OBITUARY John Edward Collins December 13, 1933 – December 6, 2018 Collins John Edward (Pops) of Leland, Michigan died unexpectedly on December 6, 2018 at 84 years of age. Beloved husband of 62 years to Barbara Ann Collins (proceeded John in death June 19, 2018). Loving father of John Stephen (Felicia) Collins, Linda (Kevin) VanKoevering, and Matt Collins.

Dearest grandfather of Kyle, Andrew, Laura, Kelly, Matthew, Sidney, Mackenzie, Bradley, and Nicole. Loving great-grandfather of Sam, Madeline, Jack, Gus, Leighton, and Jordon. Predeceased by his father Edward, mother Wenonah, and sister Eunice (Carl) Gohr.

The family will greet friends for a visitation on Tuesday December 11, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Family Funeral Care, located at 2904 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made in John’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation (www. act.

alz.org). John was cherished by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. We love you “Pops”.
