John F. Brodman age 64 of Upper Sandusky died Sat. Jan. 19, 2019 at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Aug. 30, 1954 in Upper Sandusky to the late John L. & Adelene B. (Hellman) Brodman. In 1977 he married Gale Beckley and they later divorced.

He then married Teresa M. Weatherholtz in 1997, and she survives in Upper Sandusky. He is also survived by a son Keith (Kayla) Brodman, Dublin, a daughter Jessica (Allen) Bell, Lafayette, IN, 5 grandchildren Jace, Lillian, Emmalee Bell, Atlan, Kendall Brodman, 3 brothers Paul Brodman, Carey, Dave (LuAnn) Brodman, Upper Sandusky, Mark Brodman, Wharton. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-in-law Linda Brodman, and his loyal, loving, side-kick Jack Russell—Maggie.

Mr. Brodman graduated from USHS with the class of 1972, and from OSU in 1976. Mr. Brodman was a member of Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church. He was an agronomy manager at the former U.S. Commission Co. now Heritage Cooperative.

He was a former co-owner of Walton Agri Service, and Buckeye Agri Service. Most recently he worked as location manager of CPS in Upper Sandusky, Dunkirk, and formerly the Carey & Nevada locations. Mr. Brodman was a member of the Upper Sandusky Knights of Columbus where he was past Grand Knight, and financial secretary for many years.

He was also a member of BPOE 83, and Wyandot County Farm Bureau. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Thurs. Jan.

24, 2019 at Transfiguration of The Lord Catholic Church with Father J.R. Hadnagy & Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Salem Twp. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM Wed.

Jan. 23, 2019 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with a Catholic Prayer Service at 7:45PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot County 4-H, Upper Sandusky FFA, or Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 East Wyandot Ave.
