John’s Obituary John F. Miller, “Jack to the family”, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Miller was a longtime resident of the Germantown section of the city. In earlier years he was very involved with building floats and props for the Mummers Fancy Brigade.

He spent his career as a Master Electrician, mostly working at Chestnut Hill Academy for 20 years. Jack could fix anything and was always there to help others. He was a volunteer at the Shriners Hospital for over 20 years and was a lifetime member of the New Apostolic Church in Philadelphia.

He is the loving father of Diane Miller, Kerry Miller, Michael P. Miller Sr. (Susan), Shannonlee Miller, and the late John F. Miller Jr. (Brenda); and the longtime companion of Regina Marchewka. Jack is the devoted grandfather of Christopher, Eric, John, Michael, Brian, Brianna, Jasmine, Shannon-Rae, Mariah, Michael and Matthew; proud great grandfather of Madisyn and Monroe. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Howard Miller and numerous nieces and nephews, especially Kim Mendez.

He is predeceased by his parents Ida C. (Kazenwadel) and Howard Earl Miller, and siblings, Paul, Charles, Helen, Edward, William, George and Robert. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the New Apostolic Church, 716 Pomona Road (and Branch Pike), Cinnaminson, NJ 08077, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, with fellowship to follow. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
