OBITUARY John F. Sheridan January 31, 1952 – January 31, 2019 Play Tribute Movie John F. Sheridan 67 of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of Secaucus passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the Hackensack Hospital. Born in Jersey City he was a former longtime resident of Secaucus before moving to Hasbrouck Heights 27years ago. John was employed by the US Postal Service for 43 years and recently retired as a Union delegate for NALC Merge Branch 38 in Secaucus.
He was the devoted husband of 35 years of Rose Ann Rovito Sheridan; his son John M Sheridan; his daughters Julia and her fiancée Philip Caruso; Koren and her husband Craig Potenzone; his mother Virginia DeRoy Sheridan; his brothers Michael and his wife Irene; Mark and his wife Nancy; his sisters Doreen and her husband Steve Mondadori; and Virginia Sheridan; Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 9 PM at the Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the NJ Merged Branch 38 C/O Muscular Dystrophy Association Fund 374 Morris Ave.
