John (Jack) Forrester passed away on October 25, 2018 at the age of 94. He was born on January 25, 1924 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He had been a resident of Vienna, VA for the past 48 years.

Jack was a World War II Veteran serving in the Air Force starting at age 19. After the war, he returned home to Scranton, PA and graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in journalism. He then started a career with the CIA as he worked for the Agency until 1978.

Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Forrester, and their two sons, Michael Forrester (Elise), and Casey Forrester (Lisa). Jack also leaves three grandchildren, David, Abby and Andrew.

Friends and family will celebrate Jack’s life at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, VA on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Jack will be buried with military honors at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA at 1:00 p.m. after the funeral. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the University of Scranton. Online condolences and fond memories of Jack may be offered to the family at www.
