John Frank Ramsperger, 71, formerly of Kerrville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 25, 2018, in Prescott, AZ. , following a short battle with esophageal cancer. He is survived by Joanne, his loving wife of 45 years; daughter, Karin (John) Lawrence of San Antonio; grandchildren, Ella & Dean Lawrence; son, Jason (Dawn) Ramsperger of San Diego; sister, Chebba (David) Sobotka of San Antonio; numerous other relatives and many dear friends, as well as his beloved “babydogs”, Bandit & Harley.

He proudly served his country with the US Army, Co B, 1st Bn, 12th Infantry, 4th Division in Vietnam 1967 – 1968, where he was twice wounded in action. He will be inurned at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
