Obituary for John Garagozzo John J. Garagozzo, 79 years old, from Wilmington, DE, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA. In his younger years, John was in show business and performed with his partner Lou Rossi as a comedy and singing duo. With his passion for his Italian Heritage he traveled to Italy around a dozen times with family and friends.

He also loved spending time taking care of his vegetable garden and getting up before the sun to hang out with his Dunkin Donuts buddies. John always had a sense of humor, loved to laugh and make everyone around him laugh no matter what the situation was. John will be missed tremendously by his family which includes his wife, Rebecca and children, Keith (Marlene), Greg (Heather), Danielle (Les) and David; 11 grandchildren; his brother, Ron (Debbie) and sister-in-law, Linda.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine DeCesare (Mike). We are thankful for so many great memories to look back upon, but wish that they didn’t end so soon. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (Dec 27th) at 11am at St. Helena Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE where relatives and friends will be received one hour prior to Mass.

Interment will be private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in John’s memory to Faithful Friends Animal Society faithfulfriends. us/ Upcoming Events Visitation , DEC 27.
