John G. Brown, age 81 of (Jefferson Township) Perryopolis, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Jefferson Township on September 18, 1937 a son of the late James F. and Mary Josephine Danielson Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother in law, Richard “Rick” Schuler.

John was a life long resident of Jefferson Township and sole proprietor of John Brown Farm Equipment. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carole E. Hanam Brown; sister, Meredith Schuler of West Lake, Ohio; brother, James L Brown and his wife Rosemarie of Jefferson Township; nieces and nephews: Kevin and Jim Brown and families of Perryopolis, David and Tim Schuler and families from Ohio and Nancy Starcher and family also from Ohio. John’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Nancy Wilson.

They are truly grateful for the wonderful, kind compassionate care she gave to him during a very difficult time. In honoring John’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private funeral interment will take place at the West Newton Cemetery.
